You could soak up the sights of the island, by booking a place on the GTS Celebrity Summit. The magnificent millennium class vessel, owned and operated by Celebrity Cruises arrives in Bermuda on the 3rd of May.
It has been in existence since 2001. The $350 million cruise ship was built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard, in St. Nazaire in France. The craft was originally known as Summit, before being rechristened four years ago, in 2008.
The Celebrity Summit is scheduled to berth at King’s Wharf on Thursday the 3rd of May at one o’clock in the afternoon. The cruise ship will be moored at the dock until 5pm the next day.
This shall not be the only time the Celebrity Summit shall be making a starring appearance at Kings Wharf. It is set to return several more times in the course of the month. The cruise ship will be back a week later, on Wednesday the 9th of May at 08.30 am. She will be staying at Bermuda for a couple of days, before heading out to sea again at 4.30pm on Friday the 11th.
It makes a third stop to Kings Wharf at 08.30 on Wednesday the 16th, mooring till four thirty on the afternoon of the 18th.
Wednesday the 23rd of May is when the Celebrity Summit shall be pulling back into Kings Wharf. It will stop at 08.30 for two days and then depart at half past four again on Friday the 25th.
The Celebrity Summit will make its fifth stop at Kings Wharf in May on the 30th, once more at eight thirty in the morning. The ship will be docked at Bermuda until 16.30 on the first of June.
