Victoria Park is a cosy public park in the capital of Bermuda. The Park was built n 1880 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. It is now overseen and operated by Hamilton Corporation.

This public park is positioned close to City Hall. It is near Victoria Street, Washington Street and Cedar Street. Victoria Park has twisting trails and pathways, under the cover of shade. They take in every corner of this public park. Here visitors can view numerous trees, shrubs, bushes and plant life. The park is lauded for its classical English flower beds, beautiful lawns and sunken gardens.

It has the finest Norfolk pines and golden acacia trees. Tourists can see the glorious band stand, made from ornate iron. It was first erected back in 1899 when British regimental bands played in Bermuda. The bandstand underwent restoration in Scotland in 2008. It returned to it former glory a year later. The park has open air contests in the summer and around Christmastime.

There are many exciting events held the park. The 2011 Summer Sunday of the Park series is ideal for all the family. It has a fun Kids Area with face painting and bouncy castles. There are shows by regional artists, groups and individuals. The event has dancing and classic. It has street vendors selling food. There are also a number of bars, among other facilities. The admission to park events is free.
