Keep up to date with company news, specials and our unique take on things in Bermuda

There will be a stunning arrival at the Bermuda capital of Hamilton on Monday. This is when, at 9.00am local time, the ravishing cruise ship Regatta pulls into dock.

The Regatta, in conventional terms, is a collection of boat races, made up of sailed or rowed water craft. This is also the current name of the stunning R class cruise liner. The MS Regatta was constructed at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard St. Nazaire, France in 1998. The ship used to be called the MS Two. The vessel was also known as the MS Insignia from 2002 to 2003. It has been using its present name The MS Regatta ever since that time.

The ship was operated by Renaissance Cruises from 1998 to 2001. It was then ran by Cruiseinvest from 2001 to 2006. This is before the Oceania Cruises lines acquired the ship and they have operated the vessel to this day.

The MS Regatta, in its present incarnation, shall bless the Bermuda shoreline at 9am on Monday the 18th of April.

Passengers will only need to remember one name when they arrive in Bermuda, Elbow Beach Cycles, the perfect place for hiring a scooter, moped or bicycle to tour the island.
