I just recently returned to bermuda after 25 years. I had rented a moped at Elbow Beach Cycles then and returned to see if it was still in business. Not only was it still in business it was run by the same person. The cycles and shop have been updated but the comittment to safety has not changed. Wonderful experience we can’t wait to return.

I have been coming back to Bermuda ever since 1997. I always get a warm, friendly welcome and great service. I have recommended Elbow Beach Cycles to a number of people over the years. They always appreciate the amount of time and energy Mrs. T and Kevin give to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride on the Bermuda roads. Elbow Beach Cycle Livery staff are the epitome of professionalism and safety consciousness. They ensure that on each visit we’re provided with well-maintained bikes enabling us to explore Bermuda from St. David’s lighthouse to the Royal Navy Dockyard and all points in between. We spend our days traveling by bike meeting people and discovering Bermuda history off the beaten track. We greatly appreciate how the staff won’t let anyone leave the lot before knowing the rules of the road and how to safely and comfortably it is to operate the bikes. Just as importantly they do it with smiles and senses of humor that make them as much an attraction as any on the island.

I’m simply amazed all around. Better service than any of the other scooter rental companies on the Island — hands down!

Once you’ve experienced Mrs T and the fine people at Elbow Beach Cycles, you won’t want to go anywhere else. The friendly service is a true reflection of true concern for the enjoyment and safety of each and every one of their clients. I wouldn’t think of renting anywhere else!

Be warned, you may end up paying for a moped rental that actually delivers a whole lot of fun and amazing value for money!

Paul Maidment and the “Manchester Boy Scouts” have been a client of Elbow Beach Cycles for over 22 years. Paul continues in the tradition of his father, the late Harry Maidment, who had also brought boy scouts to Bermuda. You are a stunning lady. I don’t know how you keep your cool but we’re so glad you do. Please accept apologies again for the wobbly start but we got going – all thanks to you. We had a wonderful time in Bermuda because of you. Going around by scooter is the best experience.

We went up to Dockyard like you told us, stopped at the gorgeous Lighthouse Tea Room on the way back, did Flatts and the Aquarium and went sightseeing (translation: professional voyeurism rubbernecking round walls to see those fabulous Tuckers Town homes!) And one final thing: purple is your colour. Please keep wearing “our” colour.

I had the pleasure of using Elbow Beach Cycles. The staff were courteous, informed and efficient. My bike was clean, well maintained and ran superbly. A great way to get around, easy to park and a lot of fun. Loved the beaches, museums and catching up with good friends. Highly recommended.

The bikes were in excellent shape, they went like silver bullets shot out of a gun, we had no problems and we even got my girlfiriend to drive her own bike. Such a hoot! (And, this from the same people that were thinking about hiking around the Island). Thanks again!

My family was introduced to Elbow Beach Cycles and Mrs. Thomas over twenty years ago when we stayed at the hotel next door.

Mrs Thomas has always been most delightful and accommodating of our needs. Bermuda had become our second home, and Ms. Thomas has become family to us.

Upon our arrival to Bermuda, our first stop was at the Elbow Beach Cycles just to say hi. I have rented scooters from the cycle livery for over twenty years. Not once have I had a mechanical problem with my scooter. I have seen so much of the island, stuff that I would have never seen if I were not on a scooter just going about, the scenery photos I have taken over the years are all over my walls.

The bond and friendship Mrs. Thomas builds with her clients is untouchable and I know that first hand. When my dad passed away, not only did she send flowers she flew from Bermuda to Boston to attend the services.

Everyone I recommend to them always come back telling me what a wonderful experience it was renting from Elbow Beach Cycles, and how lovely the people are.
